98 XR400 for sale. One riding day on the new rear tire, sprockets,chain and clutch.The drain plug bolt hub cracked during last oil change. New case needed or possibly can be welded. Light and odometer removed. Runs perfectly. $2000. Call Tom Desideri @ 847-439-7500 from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

OTHER THAN THE CRACKED CASE, HOW MUCH TOTAL TIME ON BIKE AND OR HOW GOOD OF OVERALL CONDITION IS IT IN? DO YOU HAVE THE HEADLITE AND ODO, ANY OTHER MISSING PARTS? DID YOU BUY THE BIKE NEW? ANY HI-PERFORMANCE ACCESSORIES, PIPE ETC?

I bought the bike new in 98, it has approximately 50 riding days,about 1000 miles on it. All trails, hills. Never raced. I dont have the odometer or headlite anymore. I cut the seat down about 3". Aftermarket parts are exhaust baffle,air filter and jetting from Baja Designs, Renthal bars, barkbusters and skidplate. The plastic is a little beat, but mechanically it is in excellent condtion. Always starts and runs, very reliable.
