Hinson clutch on XR's ?

Has anyone tried these on say an xr250 or xr400 ? What was the feel like ? Do you get a better progressive feel than standard ? Is it easier to modulate the power compared to standard ?

For example, my '00 YZ125 clutch can be used to control the power, but on my XR400 the clutch is like an on/off switch.
