Who's riding???? Should be nice and dusty!!!!!!

Posted by: KDXfile---------------------

I'll be there. Hopefully we'll get some more rain and it won't be too dusty.
Should be a fun ride.

Posted by: kawy---------------------

No rain as of 9:00 pm thursday.

Posted by: Roughrider---------------------

612, I hear that barfoot will overtake you at this one?

Posted by: 612---------------------

ROUGHRIDER,
We both know the answer to this!
The Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki #612 is always up for the challenge, the only problem is that the factory pilot is still incapacitated! I guess we'll just have to check the point standings on Monday night to see what actually happens!
What about you and the Katoom? You should be down to your lowest riding weight in a while. Heck, aren't you one of the crafty trailmasters who lays out these challenging courses @ PMMC. You should have an automatic leg up right there.
What about Kawy? I'm going against the odds and saying that he not only finishes, but does rather well. There may be a couple of young guns that try to knock him off, but his #1 competitor is out with a fractured forearm. I hear the green machine is running strong after his rebuild. I guess it was running so strong last week that it literally caused him to overheat the brakes trying to slow it down!!!
Sounds competitive as usual!!!!

i will be there

Posted by: 612---------------------

Any ideas of who may overall????????????????

Posted by: ktmracer---------------------

my vote goes to landon

Posted by: 612---------------------

Landon is out with a fractured forearm. What about Chad Earl if he can keep the KX together? I think a couple of locals in the AA class(Selma) may be tough to beat.

Posted by: Roughrider---------------------

You mean clutchless Classic Chad Earl! Not a chance.

Posted by: 612---------------------

I wonder if we got him one of those Rev-Loc deals, if it would hold together for him! Don't be so hard on the boy yet. This could be his weekend. The hole-shot will be huge with the dust bowl conditions. He usually has a pretty good start at the pasture. Hell, the more I think about it, the more I want to go with the law of average, and here lately, the ball has not been bouncing in his court. I may have to put him on the #612 to make sure he finishes the race! No, I like my clutch too much to do that!

Posted by: ktmracer---------------------

I have seen him ride before (not for very long, as he was passing/lapping me) and he does fly. i wish he would win he seems to be a real nice guy.

Posted by: 612---------------------

KTM Racer,

Didn't Chad and myself(guy on a kx, also) see you down at Perry Mountain one Saturday this past winter? I think you and several of your friends were there riding.

Posted by: Lemming---------------------

Hopefully if won't be too dusty, we managed to get some rain in B'ham this evening. If the club got what we got, it will be perfect.

With Landon out, Mike M has a good shot at the overall.

Posted by: Lemming---------------------

With KDXfile's help I got the MC250 woods worthy today so I think I'll run tomorrow. I hope it's a wide open course with lots of whoops.

Anyone know how many of the grass tracks we will be running this time?

Posted by: sharp---------------------

lemming -

I hope you put a 10 lb. flywheel weight on that thing

I'll be there. This is the second HS I've ridden in two years and already getting butterflies. Does anybody know how many riders usually show up to this race?

Posted by: KDXfile---------------------

sharp,
There will probably be between 125-150 riders at the race.
I rode Lemmings MC today and it runs great; we'll have to really pour on the gas if we're to catch him.
See ya there,

Posted by: Lemming---------------------

Yep, got the 10lb, er ah 10oz flywheel installed. This should be an interesting ride :scream:

This is a SERA race (not a tripled santioned like in the fall) so I'm guessing 100?

I'll try to save a spot for you and KDXfile. I usually park between the kids MX track and the creek.

Posted by: ktmracer---------------------

612 were you on a kx125?? if so i remember meeting you. btw a guy from the 200a class overalled. and damn was it dusty. nice call on chad's kx, he locked his tranny on the first lap.
