There seems to be a lot of misinformation floating around right now on pending legislation and the future of two-stroke off-road bikes. Can anyone clarify the issue of what impact this legislation will have on the ownership of a two-stroke after the laws take effect? Specifically, will owners of two-strokes be able to ride them on public roads & trails (with proper licensing, etc.) and will the sale of used two-strokes be prohibited by this legislation?

On the EPA web site it is stated that two-strokes won't be banned. Check this page out for more info- www.epa.gov/otaq/reg/nonroad/proposal/f01025.htm Cut and paste or just type it in to your search engine, hopefully it will help settle your fears of the rumored ban.
