Were these guys even at the same race?

After reading some posts from youse guys, and seeing the pics Nikki posted, I have a hard time believing that the powers that be at MXA were even within a 600 mile radius of Salt Lake City!

The following pearl of "wisdom" came from MXA's website:

I realize that the race wasn't full of mud, but come on, there are some reliable sources here on DRN that were actually there!

MXA wasn't there if they printed that statement! The track crew actually had some plastic sheeting covering the tripples, and some other parts of the track, which helped out a ton, otherwise noone would have been able to clear them. The crew pulled the sheeting off just before practice started and went to work on the rest of the track. They did an awesome job considering the condition the track was in when I got there that morning. They took out at least 2 rollers going into the corners just to replace the mud they took from the corners themselves.

Trust me, the rain panned out, it's just that those guys from Dirt Wurx know what they are doing.

To bad for Kyle Lewis, he had to find one of those places where they pushed all that mud.

That is the funniest thing I've read in a long while. I guess if they mean it didn't rain during qualifying and the race, then the rain didn't pan out, but man it poured until 3.
