CRF230F vs TTR-225

Has anyone heard anything about honda's new CRF230F? I was wondering how it would compare to a TTR-225. I think i could probably get most of my money back out of my TTR-225.I personally like Honda's better than Yamaha's and i would really like to be back on a Honda becuase of all the bad experinces i've had with Yamaha. SO how does the 230 compare is it beter i know it couldn't be much worse performance wise but is it really worth spending around $300 more? I know since the 230 isn't out yet not many people will have a lot of info but any info would be nice.

Well so far, it LOOKS faster 
It may be awhile untill we get solid info. I'm looking at one for the family. I don't want the Yamaha because of the way it LOOKS

a lot of people say the 225 is the weight of a ttr250, with the engine of the ttr125. or about the same
i have NO idea about the crf, but a lot of people say the tt-r is underpowered, undersuspended, and overweight. its kinda like a beginner bike. if it was me id go crf, even though i (personally) like yamaha.

well look at honda's lineup i would go with the xr250 you'll be more happy with it to my oppinion its reliabylity is prooven to be great and it have better suspention that the crf230 and i'm guessing hase more power and its cheaper but the downside now xr250 hase no elec start and the crf does do what you want but if it was in my hands i would go with the 250

I know I may come off as very biased, which I probably am, but I think the CRF230F is a way better bike than the TT-R225. It is lighter, probably more powerful and should be bulletproof. Also, there will be tons of hop-up potential for the bike. I vote for the CRF230F or XR250R.

As long as you dont buy the TTR 225, any bike will be ok I bought one for my wife and it is a TANK!!! tip it over, and you better have a 2 ton floor jack to lift it back up, all the weight is high in the gas tank. the only saving grace is the electric start. The CRF's arent even out yet and I can already tell you they are a better bike.

i got a question, is the crf 250 supposed to be just like the older brother of the crf 230? or what. i thought the crf 250 was a motocross bike, the ttr 225 is totally different. thanx

CRF230F is an XR230 with a fancy name to make it sell to kids.

I actually think it is the replacement for the xr200 as honda does not show a 2003 model.
