Honda CR80 / XR100 motor in Australia

Im busy putting together a highly modified Honda XR100 engine in a 1998 small wheel Honda CR80 frame to be raced by a 110 - 120 lb fast rider for junior MX. The XR engine is a fair bit heavier than the CR engine and as this is a pretty rare conversion here in Australia my suspension guy has a few ideas but isnt too sure about the right spring rates to start off with.
Anybody got a starting point?

I've often thought about trying this conversion one day. Has it been difficult or just awkward? The only pics/info I've seen on the net have all been done by professional US companies. (I'm on Adelaide) Interested to know how you've gone about it, to gauge whether I should keep thinking, or forget it.
