VT places to ride???

Memorial Day long weekend, in VT, on a lake with a bunch of dirt roads but no real techinical riding areas. I've been going to this place near Fairhaven VT (Lake Hortonia) for atleast 10 years and never found a good riding area. I have scouted old trails on my mountain bike and bushwacked a few, but no signs of life. With all the land up there, there must be somewhere to ride my new 220. Please somebody point me in the right direction or even join me for a ride.
