Does anyone know of any practice tracks in East TN around Knoxville that has practice on the weekends? Seems the Jamestown Track keeps changing their membership requirements and Rick is imposible to get a hold of.

Watt Rd. used to have practice on Wed. and Sun., but the seem to change fairly often. I-40 would be another place to try. They race on Sat. but I'm not sure when the have open practice. Depending on how long you want to drive, I-81 is open on Sun.

I-40 only has practice once a year or at least they used to but Watt Rd is a good possibility if they practice on Sunday. Thanks for the reply, Mojo for you!

I-81 is open everyday. However, the track is closed on racedays but the trails are open.

There is also Fly Motocross in Bean Station now. The main track is not for the timid though. They are also open daily.

I-81 is a good place if you are willing to drive from Knoxville. It would be a good idea to find out when another racing series starts. Try contacting Jim`s Motorcycle Sales in Johnson City 423-926-5561. They should be able to help since Ken Hayes owns I-81. Unless they have changed the cost you could ride all day for $10. It is a nice track. Last raced there in 99.
Good luck, hope this helps.
