There is an organized riding area in Chatsworth, just off route 72 heading towaards Long Beach Island. Not sure of the phone number, but I'm sure someone on here rides there.
In that area you can just hit the fire trails, but beware of the park rangers if you stray onto state forest land....

The cost if $135/year and I think about $35 per day. I haven't been down there this year yet but I know it gets pretty crowded on the weekends.
