The USA team is one step closer to the second round. Last nights draw with korea puts the USA in a great position to make it to the second round.

South Africa also is looking good, and won their first world cup match this week. A draw in the final game will see them through.

At least you spelled "futbol" right, Bundu! We can't be confusing it with the sport associated with the legendary Vince Lombardi! :D

As for the punkin' pushers (AKA basketball), I thought the season was over months ago . . . :confused:

It was over when the Lakers beat Sacramento. Unless, of course, Shaq takes a nasty spill on his West Coast custom chopper between now and game 4... highly unlikely though.

Also, aren't they still in the last 30 seconds of last night's game? I think the Lakers still have 15 time-outs, while the Nets have 17.
