i need to know some info on that twin air for my 95 yz250. is it GOOD or is it BAD? answers greatly appreciated. thanks. chase

Excellant air filter, very durable, I have washed mine probably 25 times with no sign of deteriation at this point.

thanx man. im really looking in on buying that filter. another thing. i have the pro circuit platinum series pipe and scilencer on there, and there is always black crusty stuff that comes out of the scilencer that i cant figure out. i put the stock pipe on for a few hours and from that, it doesnt seem to be doing it on there. so if you have any clues, please tell me soon. thanks chase

Clumberjacks,
sounds like the pipe is causing some spooge, or unburnt oil to seep from the pipe. You should take a look at tweaking the jetting, as spooge is usually caused by wrong jetting in the carb. A different pipe will change you jetting requirements often.
Good luck

It's my understanding that a little spooge is normal. I've heard some people's bikes have no spooge at all, others have the Aztec 2 Step. What's more important is how it runs. If you don't notice any sputtering or bogging, and you aren't fouling plugs, don't worry about it. Just make sure to repack your silencer often.

thanks guys. my bike is rnning great its just that i was concerned about the spooge. thanks lots.
