ha! 40. what a LOOSER! wait...i had the check out girl ask me if i was over 40 the other day(sale of drugs.."card if you look younger than 40") i looked at her and thought, "yeh,right!"..then i realized i was 1 yr away..cripes! 40, how does anyone make it that old. happy twinny, not many left.

Thanks for all the.... uhhhh.... sentiments??? I've actually started the celebration early with a mean practical joke. Our very own Thump fell for it, I lost it part way through the delivery (he asked too many questions), and then it hit a fellow riding buddy (Rick) with the equivalent blow of a wrecking ball (much of that due to Thump's creative email conversations with Rick). Talk about a way to welcome the age of 40! There isn't much that is finer in life than a well placed practical joke. **
** The joke was a result of the having to endure the constant insistance (from Rick and Thump) that I'm next in line to visit the hospital for a bad wreck on the track. Turn-around is fair play.

The nice thing about hitting 40 is that those women over 30 don't loo so bad now!
The bad thing is that you can't look at the younger ones 'cause you have daughters that age! :scream:
But the best thing is smoking some young'un on the track or trail, then pulling off your helmet so he can see he got whupped by an ol' phart!
