(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Rivers---------------------

I ride a 2001 KTM 400 EXC and weigh 140lbs. Can anyone tell me if I should be changing my stock springs and oil, and if so, which springs rates or oil weight should I be going for? I ride mainly enduros

TIA!
PS: Is there a need for a revalve?

You're the only one that knows if you should change or not. Depends on what kind of riding you do and how you want the suspension to react. I'm not familiar with the KTM 400 spring rates but would guess that's it's oversprung for someone of 140lbs. Set the sag and if you can't get it within spec.s , that will tell you right there if you need to change spring rates.
