This is a gnarly bike. I'm a college student and am selling it to make next semester's tuition. I've had about 20 hours on it (thats a high estimate). I bought this bike from an older gentleman (40'ish) north of Boise, and to my knowledge I'm the second owner. He rode trails...and I just basically rode it out in the desert. This bike is in fabulous shape. First off, all the people that see it are awed by the fact that its a CR 500, and then the're wowed by the condition that its in. You find any other 500 of this year and you can be pretty damned sure it'll be roached out. Not this bad boy. It's got Renthal bars (jimmy button style bend), an O-ring chain, sweet brand new tires, and a new front rim. When I bought the bike it had lots of little "outdated" things on it...like old gnarled grips, funky clutch and brake levers, and nasty bars on it. They've been replaced. Its also been well maintained. (Air filter, tranny oil changed, etc)

This thing has ballz beyond ballz. Every gear you shift into, gassing it too hard will result in having the front end lurch into the air. Its just a monster. The engine and transmission are in great shape, and the clutch is awesome.

These are hot bikes - except for the Service Honda, they don't make these bikes anymore. This is 2-stroke awe and wonder in all its glory.

Email me for any other questions or concerns - and I do have some pics too, so drop me a line!
