i have a ktm rxc400 dualsport that is hard to idle down the hotter it gets. I am using 93octane amco fuel. has quicksilver carb. sounds like a lean condition. any thoughts?

I'd look at:
1) leak around the new carb mount and air box
2) idle circuit jetting - try richer mixture
3) pull the carb and clean the idle circuit well (lots of carb cleaner and compressed air)
My 250F got a bad tank of gas that gunked up the idle circuit after sitting for a couple weeks, and develped the same idle problem you mentioned. Cleaned the carb and runs like a champ again. I now drain the carb if the bike is going to sit for more than a few days.
Good luck.
