recommend springs

I just bought a 2002 200 EXC. I want to dial in the spring rates for my, ahem, weight. I was able to get the rear sag correct by adding 4 turns to the pre-load, but I'm worried about the forks. My weight is 215 w/o gear.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Rob, This may or may not help you. As a fellow rider (and a bit of a fat boy) I tip the scales at 235lbs. I use my bike for enduro andtrail riding and use 22-24lb linear rate springs. In the past I have also used 18-32lb progresive rate springs with good success. Softer springs may track the ground better, but sink deep on steep downhills. I cannot get away with less than 22lb springs on my rm250. Hope this helps with a starting spot. Motocross may require higher spring rates if you do the jumps. You may also wantto ask the question of "racetech".

Rob,
I'd go .44kg/mm and a PDS #6 or #1
