Colorado Riding

Hi, I'm getting ready to head to Colorado in week or so to do some riding in the mountains. In the years past we have always rode in the Taylor Park area, which is a great place with awesome trails but our group wanted a change scenery this year. We are considering places near Steamboat Springs, like Haans Peak for example. Anybody ridin around there? And how did you like it? I understand that forest fires are an issue in that area right now but anyones input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Call the Forest Service in the Steamboat Springs area. I think there IS a fire nearby that ya'll would want to avoid right now. Pull up the US Forest Service web site for the phone numbers and for all the fire incident web pages. LOTS of good info there.
