I know that for '03 they are gonna have automatic decompression added how much with this aid in ease of starting? I don't find the couple of 250F's i've ridden that hard to start. I'm very seriously looking at getting one for '03 will it make it more like a crf in terms of starting? whats everyones take on this

nothing I want to know if this new feature on the YZF's will make it more like the CRF as in easy to start. Cause currently you have to push down on the lever till it stops pull the manual compression release then give it one full complete kick and it usually lights up in 1 or 2 kicks. By adding the auto decomp will you just be able to kick it over more like the CRF is. Thats what I'm curious to know cause i'm about 80% positive i'll have one in about month.

The CRF450 has autodecompression, so the starting should be very similar for the YZFs.
