You probably have the Mikuni TM33-8012 on the way.
Main jets - N100/604 series (large rounds)
Pilots - VM28/486 series
You should be able to get jets from:
www.denniskirk.com
www.sudco.com
www.carbparts.com
here are a couple links to the carb I think you are getting:
http://www.carbparts.com/mikuni/tm33_parts_list.htm
http://www.carbparts.com/mikuni/tm_expl_view.gif
The worst part about the carb is that the air screw is recessed on the bottom and almost impossible to adjust (on the installations I have seen). I used some JB weld, an aluminum standoff from a PC board, a screw and a washer to make an extension that I can reach down and turn while sitting on the bike. I have a few pics somwhere but I'd have to look around.
I have heard that the KLX 300 actually likes the 36mm better??? No idea if thats true or not though..

No problem - I just happen to have one of those 33's myself. I originally got mine from www.strokerspeed.com (couldn't get the website to come up the other day though). I believe they have lots of other goodies for your KLX too.
You are correct - DRN is a great place.

depends on what kind of riding you do. the 33mm really wakes up the bottom end and the 36mm gives you more topend power. Most folks prefer the 33. Having owned 3 KLX's and having used every carb available, I prefer the 33.

hey penguin it's dc from yahoo ur input is always welcome but i ment is there more than one 33mm carb.the parts guys i spoke to confused me .i thought they would look up 33 mm mik pumper and that would b it,not 20 questions.guess they don't know these carbs that well.after that i wasn't gonna get into what i was doin w the carb lol u find # 4 yet?
TTRGUY when i get the pumper i'm done all that's left is to punch it out bigger and i've drawn the __________ FINISHED PRODUCT lol

Most of the parts guys at the local dealer don't know squat about anything but genuine OEM parts that came on the bike stock, there are too many models for them to remember and most of them can't find anything unless it is in the online microfiche. The jets for the TM33 mikuni are not hard to find. Once you get them out of the carb and show them to the parts guys they will know what they are.. I have a line on number 4 but I have to look at a very trick, clean, YZ400F first. I am 80% sure I will end up with another KLX, but I have to look at this YZF just to so I won't end up second guessing myself.
