ATK shows this a a $1000 option on their 2003 605 enduro.
Haven't been able to find any info on this.
Why so much money?

Do you want to know what it is or why it costs so much?

I think there was a discussion about this before but I can't find it either, try ThumperTalk, it was there too.

I believe it replaces the clutch pressure plate with a ramp and ball system. So when you rev the bike up the clutch automatically ingages, just like a moped or chainsaw. You still have your clutch lever I think but there is no reason to use it.

I guess the reason they are so expensive is they are quite new so the inventer is still recouping the money spent on designing them, and the quantity of them being made is relatively small...

The clutch is $995, but i would think it would be a bit cheaper if already installed on the bike at the factory.

I do know its principal of how it works, my dad has a Honda 200 3 wheeler with an auto clutch. For $1000 thought it must be a lot more than that though. I ride the mountains of Colorado and would be nice to never stall the bike but not sure $1000 worth of nice.

Here is one of the best real-world reviews I have seen on it: Click!
This review was on a YZ426F.

Dirt Rider (I think... ) ran a test on the Rev-Lock, seems like about last spring or so. Absolutely raved about it to the point of a paid advertisement. Seemed to me that it would be the most valuable in tight n' nasty conditions where a lot of clutch slippin' is usually required. Like about anywhere in Missouri...

At first I thought, who would want this, but after looking at the links posted above and below, this looks like an excellent product.
