if i get Maier plastics for my 1982 rm125 are the fenders and side panels gonna look like the new style plastics or are they gonna look the same as stock?? persnally i think my stock plastics are ugly and needed to know if these plastics would be newer style?

The '82 RM125 is one of the greatest bikes ever. I'd make it look as close to stock as possible. I can't answer your question, though. Try giving Maier a call. (530) 272-903.

ok thanks!!

maier plastics usually have a dull finish when compared to acerbis, ufo, and stock. i am sure the fitment is the same though.

Could'nt you put armor all on the plastic and make the dull finish shine? or wax it or something? I was thinking about putting red plastics on my 91 XR250R but don't want my plastics to look dull, Thanks Matt

actually Maier has changed their plastic so it has a sine just like ufo and acerbis etc. Just make sure if you order it tell them you want the shiney finish.

I was going to change out the stock tail fender on my XR250 and bought the Maier plastic - its' shiny and the same color red as the original, I was more interested in matching up the color.

Get some Mop-N-Glo if you want shine, very effective trick for dull plastic.

I agree with Fatman Mop-N-Glo will give dull plastic a nice shine. Or you can use Bleach White.
