HAS ANYONE TRIED ANY OF THE VENRED GEAR MADE BY MOOSE?THOR OR MSR?IF SO WHAT DO YOU THINK?IS IT MUCH COOLER THAN THE STANDARD STUFF? THANK YOU

My first ride this year with my System X vented pants. All I could say was . What a knucklehead I had been, not buying them earlier. Good quality pants, and they do make a huge difference.

In the heat, there's no other way to go than vented. I have tried the MSR jersey that was partially vented, the fully vented MSR jersey, and am now using the Fox fully vented jersey. Partial venting is O.K., but full venting is best for keeping cool. I wasn't very impressed with the MSR fully vented jersey because it ripped easily. I tried a Fox vented jersey this year and it is holding up much better.

The only downside is that in a dusty race, your upper body will get very dirty, so bring stuff to clean up with. If the temps are above 80 degrees, I always go vented.

I have a set of 360 vented Fox that I really like. Also have a pair of Acerbis that flow alot of air on the thighs. Not sure of the models but I can check tonight if your interested

i wear a msr system x vented jersey and am impressed by the amout of air flow, but as katoomer said, it does rip quite easily. i ended up making a short sleve out of it in a couple of rides. but it helps alot, especially in this 100 degree alabama (read humid as hell) heat.

will
