Follow up to my mistake

Posted by: YZDezertGuy---------------------

Alrite, I am sure this thread is going to be locked since it isn't in a correct forum. I did however decide to put this here since this is where I started my trouble. For everyone to know, I have contacted Mr. Morris just recently and discussed this issue with him. I plan to check w/ UPS tomorrow and get an exact shipping fee so I can get the wheels in the mail. I would like to apologize to everyone on DRN that I have caused any trouble or worries. I have decided that I am not going to sell any more parts online and the only parts I sell will be done locally so that all transactions can be done quickly and effectively.

Those of you that believe the parts are just to good to be true, so be it. The only reason I needed to sell the parts ASAP is because I needed to pay my bills ASAP and get my truck done before school began. I set the prices so the items would sell quickly and give me what I needed.

I will definately post for everyone to know exactly when the wheels are in the mail, so I can put everyones mind to ease. If anyone would care to talk about this in a more personal matter then I will save Mr. Morris the hassle of putting my # up. My e-mail is YZGUYONE25@aol.com and my cell # is 602-317-5484. Please do not abuse this as I am trying to make an honest effort here.

My sincere apologies to everyone.
Justin Olson

good for you to make good on this.

I personally have learned that DRN is a valuable resourse and have learned the hard way.

Keep your chin up.

:D

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

Sounds good. Glad to hear that things are working out.

Posted by: MikeT---------------------

Good. We all want to see this situation made right. What was the original reason/s for the long delays??

Posted by: Patman---------------------

Do we have lift off?

Posted by: YZDezertGuy---------------------

No lift off yet, went to USPS today and got a quote to ship the wheels. Just waiting for Mr. Morris to respond on what he would like to do for the difference. Should be late this week or early next week for sure!

Posted by: BSWIFT---------------------

What was the quote from USPS? Is COD an option? To clear this thing up, I would help with some of the difference. Also, we have some UPS members that may be of service.
It is not my intentions to bail out anyone. Just resolve the basic issue ASAP and work the rest out in due time. ie: payments.
PS I would also suggest/recommend insurance on the shipping thru USPS>

Posted by: MikeT---------------------

Yes, where does this issue stand?? YZdesert, you are doing better, DON'T bail out now!!!!!

Posted by: whyzee---------------------

Just got back in town 10 min ago & the first thing I wanted to see was that parts were delivered or monies returned, sounds like we are getting close.

Posted by: 125 rider---------------------

So whats the status of the deal here?

Posted by: MikeT---------------------

YZ you must know by now....

Posted by: BSWIFT---------------------

Update?

Posted by: MoO_coW---------------------

it was only $20 to ship all my suspension in a giant box insured for $3000, so a wheel would cost less.

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

One would think so.

Posted by: YZDezertGuy---------------------

Alrite everyone, sorry I have been away for a little bit, had computer problems. Mr. Morris and I have talked via telephone though. I got the money today but it is to late to get to the post office. I am going to skip my first hour on Monday so I can get the wheels in the mail. The quote from USPS was about $40 for both wheels.

Posted by: 125 rider---------------------

OK Monday's here, are the wheels in the mail?

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

Curious here too.

Posted by: YZDezertGuy---------------------

Got to the post office a couple mins to late. Rolled up there at 5:03 and they had already closed the windows. Will be tomorrow FOR SURE!

Try not to cut it so close today. I was hoping you were sending it UPS, so you could post the tracking number and be redeemed. Tell us how it goes today.

No wonder you have people upset with you. Had you done what you said earlier they would not have been closed. Excuses get real thin when you constantly fail to do what you say you will do. Say what you are going to do, AND DO IT. Nobody will be upset with you then. If you can't do it, THEN DON'T SAY YOU WILL.

Maybe this experience will be a good lesson for you.

Posted by: YZDezertGuy---------------------

I did intend to miss my class to get this done, unfortunately I realized that I couldn't miss class due to a test. I will post later today when they are on their way.

Posted by: MikeT---------------------

OK..........

Posted by: Mully---------------------

Ok, timeout here.

First, I want you to get these parts shipped as soon as possible. Today.
By doing this it will resolve this issue. Anyone can make a mistakes, but it takes a real man to correct his mistakes. Be a man and everything will work out for the best.

Second, guys and gals, we know what the issue is here. We have several moderators and certain members assisting (and watching closely) this issue. We will get this resolved. Please allow us to work through this and we will report back to you as soon as it is complete. Thanks.

Sounds like things are at least rolling here. Let's keep this to the folks involved and the Mod, Dezert is working on it, communication is open. Keep the updates coming Dezert, helps alot.:thumb:

Posted by: YZDezertGuy---------------------

Well everyone, the wheels are gone! Finally got them in the mail and on their way to Fort Wayne, IN. The guy at the post office said it would be 7-10 days. Both wheels are insured for $500 each. Glad to finally get this taken care of.

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

Great, thanks bud.:thumb:

Posted by: BSWIFT---------------------

I hope to see a "I received the wheels" post in a couple two or three days.

Wouldn't count on it. This is the United States Post office, not UPS. It WILL probably takr the 7-10 days stated.

Mod edit.....

Or more likely a "I revieved the insurance money" post

Posted by: motofamily---------------------

MotoFam here, want to thank all you Moto people for helping out. I have sent Mully a personal thank you via PM but here is a blanket thank you to everyone else.
Desert Guy did call me and tell me that the parts were in the mail. I really do hope that he learns from this, it will definitely help him grow.
Thanks again DRN members!
