Did you see that? Bubba on the outside berm two turns before the ski Jump? How does he do that? He practically dragged the left handle bar in the dirt. Then, he throws the bike flat going off the ski jump to go back around Reed.

Incredible!

Glad to see Reed come back and show what he's made of by beating Bubba :flame: GREAT race!! :thumb:

I just watched it Tim, and that kid is amazing. :thumb:

I wish Reed got a better start so he would have had a chance to actually race Bubba in the 2nd moto. Reed was flying in the first moto!

Bubba is unreal. We're not worthy.

Just saw that race, we're a bit behind here, and I think it was fantastic.
It was great to see them racing, been waiting all year.
I think Bubba's Unadilla thing provided some extra inspiration for Reedy.
No matter what the result, great racing.

Bubba is amazing... the way he lowered the bike so much in 4th gear through that turn blows my mind.... then he throws the bike in the oppisite direction over the following jump. And to think, hes only 16 years old.

The first race was awesome! It was what everyone was hoping to see all season. The battle between Chad and James was for real. James was making mistakes and couldn't get away from Chad. They passed each other back and forth about 3-4 times each. James was riding as fast as he could but wasn't shaking Reed. It was good to see such a tight race. I was on the edge of my seat.

I'd have to say I'd like to see Chad stay in the 125 class next season to see more of the same. I think James lit a fire under Chad with his previous on track mind games. Also as Chad said, it's hard to give it your all when you have had a shoulder injury half the season.

I think it is good for James to be beaten like that. I personally think he has been getting a little cocky. During the interview after the first race, James looked like his ego had taken a beating. He was hanging his head and didn't seem quite so cocky.

On ya Chad!

And who won the overall?
I'd like to see Reed stay in the 125's as well, I'm sure he can do better than 3rd.

Just went to Steel city this weekend. There is no comparison between Reed and bubba. Bubba is so much faster it's incredible. Reed got a good start in the second moto and Bubba passed him like he was standing still.
