I ride the Off road events and keep having my handle bars getting tweeked by hittting the trees as I go through the trail. This makes steering kinda fun. I was looking to see if any one has replaced the rubber mounts with solid mounts on the Suzuki's. If so which one did you use and did they work well? I was trying to save some money and not have to replace the upper tripple clamp but if I need to go that route would love to have some recomedations on that as well. Thanks for your help.

Scotts makes nylon pieces to replace the stock rubbers.
I bet yours are getting a little soft by now and are even more susceptible to tweaking.

White Bros. carries a few different brands of one-piece top bar mounts, which replaces the two upper (handle bar) perch clamps. That, my friend, in addition to proper torque on the bolts, will prevent or minimize the sway-bar effect for the RMX. Works for my son's, and mine B4 I went to a GPR (Scott's) mount.
Oh: it's ~$40. For $150 you can buy an entire top clamp with perches from BRP (they make the Scott's unit), but it's solid (not rubber-mounted), yet I've no concern about vibration as the heavier-flywheeled RMX doesn't shake as much as an MXer. I have one on my '97 & like it over stock in that I an move farther up the tank for turns.
