GNCCs are back: Raines will be ready
GNCC Pro Bike points leader Jason Raines will be ready to race this Sunday at The John Penton GNCC in Millfield, Ohio. Jason broke his leg at our last race, The Wisp GNCC, in June, and it's been a long, painful recovery process for him. He says his biggest hurdle has been finding the strength to kick-start his Am-Pro/Yamaha YZ250. He finally got it started this week and has been riding like mad to get ready.
Can he go the distance? Or will the title fall into the lap of defending champ Rodney Smith?Jason says he's not going down without a fight.
The ATVs will be back on Saturday, with defending champ Bill Ballance looking to extend his five-race win streak. He needs to, because there's still a small points gap to make up on leaders Matt Smiley and William Yokley. And don't forget about Pro Production riders like Chad DuVall and Bryan Baker.
The John Penton is going to be a great race. It's good to be back
