Freestyle at DirtWeek

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Think Kenny or Travis built any big hits back in the woods? Not that I would hit them but I'm sure there are some members who would, and I would love to see it. Being from central Illinois, the biggest jumps I get to see in person are the sickos that hit the big piles in the back field at Wapella...

I've seen pictures of Guy doing some NASTY jumps in the woods. So if he hasn't removed them...

How bout this whip over the camera man

Posted by: CAL---------------------

THAT'S what I hope to see at Cooperland! The difference in Guy and the "new" freestylers is that Guy does it over a 60 foot wide creek through the trees!

Posted by: justql---------------------

This summer when I was at Guys house there was a prtable freestyle ramp there. No doubt for Kenny to practice on. Maybe if we ask real nice they'll take it over to Cooperland. Not that I am a big freestyle fan but I would like to see Kenny do some tricks. Any guy that is as "big time" as he is yet will still come out and trim trails at a public park is A-OK in my book.

I saw this thread and it reminded me of a DR issue where Coop was doing some huge whip over a creek in the trees as mentioned above. I think I may still have that issue!

Posted by: CAL---------------------

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm not sure if I still have that issue or not.

Posted by: biglou---------------------

On that big-ole 540, no less...

Posted by: Rooster---------------------

I think I'll look for it tonight. I have a lot of issues from '93 thru '99.

Posted by: High Lord Gomer---------------------

I bet you don't have as many "issues" as that mulllet-head that drives the Elkarino! :o

Posted by: Rooster---------------------

Thankfully, no, I don't have those "issues".....

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

Goatmer, that was an un-necessary shot across the bow. My outer tubes were NOT open and I only pinged once.

I only pinged once.

Is that what you guys call it out there in Cali???

Posted by: High Lord Gomer---------------------

Goatmer!?!? Can I officially be listed in the race for Who's-Bikes-Is-Elk-Gonna-Wash?

(I'm going to be bring a nice, clean, never before ridden bike so it shouldn't get too dirty!)

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

Oh man. I can only fit in so many bikes in a week. How's bout I just wash it when you get there and we'll skip the riding?

You'll be officially #5 on the race list. Golly, with 5 riders, you'll be lucky to place in the top 5 huh?

Posted by: Jaybird---------------------

Ya know...SFC Crash showed quite a bit of freestyling skills last year in the whoop section at DW. Wonder if Smelk can match his prowess?

......

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

I looked up "prowess" and it said, "See Elk". Not sure what that means. Oh, and you're #4 Turdbird.

Posted by: TwinSpar---------------------

Wow! I'm really surprised. I didn't think Mr. Pickles could keep track of that many numbers in that little pea brain he's got bouncing around in his cranial vacuum. BeanSprout must be smarter than I originally thought. :silly:

Hey Halfbreed, how many stickers did your vehicle get hit with?

Posted by: MX-727---------------------

There's actually about a dozen, but he's using one hand to count on his other hand, so five is max capacity.
:flame:

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

MXFlypaper, now I know why they call them cockpits.:scream: So what's it like to punch the clown at 30,000 ft?

Posted by: Jaybird---------------------

LOL...it's gettin' serious. The elkster is gettin' nuked now!

Posted by: MX-727---------------------

Looks like Buford T. Justice had one of his classic meltdowns.

Elk=China Syndrome :flame:

Posted by: TwinSpar---------------------

Don't pay too much attention to it.... It's just another case of Drama Queen getting her panties in a big old wad. :silly:

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

Bite me Flypaper!! I'm over the edge man! Stay away, stay far away!

Posted by: MX-727---------------------

Everyone back away from China. Heshe's really upset. :flame:

Posted by: TwinSpar---------------------

Upset again???? :silly:

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

I'm gonna be packin paintball heat in OK, so stand by!!

Posted by: MX-727---------------------

For the pit racers, right?

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

You got that right, pit racers beware.
