I thought you really meant:

ready?

"Oh Man, sux to be you!"

Posted by: Roostmaker---------------------

Man I was already to be POed and what he was going to say... then
I saw the banana man and I cracked up. Yeah I think it's time for a nap now.

For all those attending Dirt week

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

For me: Okie, do you really want me to pull out on my LST membership? Better yet, my bridal gift to your SIS?

As for the LST, it's on the way. Ignore(LOL) me if you want but I still love this site.

Phillip

As for the gift, I will give it in person(who cares if it is the one year anniversiry!)! :thumb:

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

Where is my dictionary? LOL!

Posted by: TwinSpar---------------------

I've been in the "for all you not attending DW" group for the past two years. It ain't fun and Okie's just plain cruel for throwing this out there. For each of you that chimes in and says do it, I'll slap Okie in the head (on a one for one response basis) for cruel and unusual punishment!

Posted by: Jaybird---------------------

Phillip, that is the 553rd time you've said you were gonna make DW03...you better damn well make it!

DO IT

Posted by: Senior KX Rider---------------------

DO IT

Posted by: yzeater---------------------

Ouch man, that hurts. Really

Posted by: Rattletrap'83CR480---------------------

If Dirt Week could ever be held in a state that doesn't have 99% humidity and mosquitos the size of bald eagles AND is within a reasonable driving distance, I would definately attend. California is the PERFECT choice!

Enough whining. Have fun, those of you that are going, and post lots of pictures of the shananigans when you get back. That way we can at least feel a part of it.

RatTrap

Posted by: OnAnySunday---------------------

What???? Youre not going Rattrap?!?
But you gotta go! or else i'll have the oldest bike at the place!!
Oh, whataminite......even IF you go i'll still have the oldest bike there.....

No...

He has every right to post this, after all he and the others put all that time and effort into throwing the get together of the year and only a small percentage of the regulars are showing up...I spend hours a day lurking and posting on DRN...I should be heading to OK, but I'm not,... so to myself and all of you who should be going I say...

and to those of you going have a time!!

Oh what the heck!.. DO IT!

Posted by: motohead00---------------------

And for the rest of you not going, just let me know and I'll get you a ziploc bag of freshly groomed moto soil. Most of it will be scraped off my chestprotector and outta my boots from my spread eagle chin diggers and roost, but hey, at least you can have a souvenir!

Posted by: LoriKTM---------------------

Some of us don't have a CHOICE on DW this year, otherwise we'd be there.

Twinnie: DO IT!

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

I'm going to be sore.

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Oh and I almost forgot. Now I can say that I'm leaving the day after tomorrow

Posted by: XRpredator---------------------

pssst! Hey Twinny, do it! But don't knock that new lid into the dirt.

Posted by: Thump---------------------

Just think... if you were to show up you'd have the chance to humiliate Okie and my self in the tag team MX race..... the Admins vs the entire population of DW....

Too bad.... See ya next year.

Posted by: dadshillnut---------------------

one more slap for me

Posted by: slo' mo---------------------

Sounds like Thump is inviting about 200 folks to race him and Okie at the same time! :flame: I believe we are being called out...

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

I'd be happy to assist in the slappage!! Sorry the rest of ya can't make it! All roads lead to Cooperland! We'll video the tag team race, that way Slokie and Chump can be humiliated for days on end.:thumb: Giddy up!!

Posted by: dadshillnut---------------------

Is dw3 going to be same place same time next year. its a little to late this year but i would sure like to start planning (beggin wife to go) for 2003

Posted by: Bill Hibbs---------------------

I'm totally bummed!!! I made it the last two years and I know what fun you guys have in store. Make sure you take a lot of pictures and post some updates. I don't have to say Have Fun because I know you all will.

Posted by: smb_racing---------------------

:whiner:
I'll certainly miss the festivities.

Your not the only one. Julius Pleaser already roasted me so I can't wait till next year!

Phillip

Posted by: _SOLO_---------------------

One slap for every year I've missed...
Do it! Do it!

Posted by: JPIVEY---------------------

Twinnie;

DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT;

That equals one of those headlock type of Nuegies

Posted by: JPIVEY---------------------

As a matter of fact, rub a bald spot in his head for us

Posted by: CanadianRidr---------------------

My advice would be to not leave cooperland, train there everyday until next year because im coming to dw03 and im going to open a can or two

Posted by: bsmith---------------------

CR if your speed is anything like your dollar, you better be opening a keg or three

Posted by: dirty~d~---------------------

I'm crying inside... really I am.

Yea, if you like triple digit temperatures, santa ana winds, smog from heck, excessive state govt regulations (lets see, do we need red or green stickers?? oh and how many Db's does you silencer put out), and a drive that only allows about 6 states to make a reasonable drive.

Posted by: Hucker---------------------

I'd love to make DW but it ain't happening. 2000 km's each way isn't all that bad. Shouldn't take more than 18-19 hours. Maybe we'll have our own little NorthEast DW sometime.. :thumb:

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Funny how when people suggest "the perfect location" it just happens to be in the state they live in, lol. Cooperland is smack dab in the middle of the country and a great place to ride.

Besides, if DW is going to be a short drive for anyone, you can bet it will be me :thumb:

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

I don't care how far it is. In '00, I drove 11 hours to Casey, slept for 2 hours, rode all day, then loaded up and went home. Circumstances beyond my control screwed up my plans to attend, but I was gonna be there if it killed me.

Would I do it again? Damn straight! :thumb:

That's the plan Huck :thumb:

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

Leave it right in the middle of the great US of A!! 20 hours, pfffffttt, that's like a drive in the park. I give one full day to experience a week of fun, hmmmmmmm, YOU BET YOUR BUTT!

Okie...can you reserve a spot for me *upwind* of Officer Gassarello?

Posted by: 2001yz250---------------------

DOOOOOOOO ITTTTTT!!!!! :flame:

And for those attending dirtweek: GET OUT OF THIS THREAD!!!

That's not something I'D post on the net, just my .02.

Posted by: High Lord Gomer---------------------

:whiner: Your misquote was much better than mine.

Posted by: a454elk---------------------

Thank you, thank you very much.

Posted by: Senior KX Rider---------------------

I'd say it was

Posted by: BEEF706---------------------

While I am truly envious of those who are going, I would NEVER consider advocating any sort of violence towards Okie (genuflect towards IL placate the empire) after all it's my own dang fault I screwed up my calender and didn't get to go (When will I learn to get my priorities straight). I would, however like to encourage any and all attempts at mischief directed at messers Elk and VD (sorry Wes) just so I can hear all the stories. May i suggest a live webcast of the dunlop race, and posted pitsally pictures. Next best thing to being there.

You can't imagine how many pictures you will see. That just makes it hurt that much more :whiner:

Posted by: Old CR goat---------------------

Man, what really hurt last year was in mid week when someone there would post just a little bit, and then cut it short cause there was soooooo much fun stuff going on, yeah that was hard and cold.

Glad I don't have to suffer through that torture this year

Mark,
Except the one of Elk washin' bikes in that pink tutu . I think HLG took it to a tailor and had it custom fitted "Round" just for him :thumb:

I don't know seince I dont eat many of them, but did anyone lay on a supply of Krispy Kreame's for him? All those bikes to wash and only a week to do them. That Pit Sally is gonna be hungry!

Posted by: OldassKDX---------------------

The way I figure....that just means that the boss is out of town! Dirtrider.net is ours fellow spodes! Quick, lets throw a party before the old man gets back!

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Oh don't fool yourself old one... we are always here

With that... I say good night. What follows is undescribable. I hope there are less unfortunate ones next year. DW ROCKS. I'll be checking in from DW HQ during the week.

Buh bye.

Posted by: JPIVEY---------------------

Well, I'm wishing you all the safest of trips to and from and the best of times while your there.

Send pics

Posted by: Papakeith---------------------

Last year I drove somthing like 18 hours solo to get to DW. 11 hours. . . Pulleeezz!

Posted by: BSWIFT---------------------

Even though I am only an hour away from DW02, I'll probably drive 16 hours or so doing prep and such. Cone on folks, make plans for DW03 wherever it is.
