should a 92kdx muffler be repacked?

i finally opened up my 92 kdx200's muffler an cleaned it. wasn't as bad as i had expected because of all the "spooge" that is coming out of the tail pipe. however i did notice that the packing material was really soaked. should i need to replace this packing or just keep using it as is?

Replace it for sure. It is cheap and you can even use fiberglass insulation.
