Geesh, I thought this was a DIRT BIKE event!! Why's everyone sittin' around in lawn chairs in their civvies?? Get those bikes out and RIDE, people! If I was there, you wouldn't have any pictures of me, 'cause I'd be out in the woods riding the whole time.

Maybe that's why I didn't meet everyone last year!!

Posted by: Milk---------------------

Well, being a gimp, I cant hobble up to the track that easy. Its pretty far and in the gravel it sucks. These were pretty much taken before I got drunk, and after they rode all day about 6pm. They were calling off numbers and raffling about 100 gifts to people. I didnt win anything.

Darron, next year I'll just giv you a hard copy of my pic. I would probably ruin your camera

Phillip

Posted by: Rich Rohrich---------------------

Great job Milk. Almost like being there.

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

??? Mr. Einstein isn't even close to being there or is he trying to be like us spodes and pretend to be like one of those who are up the creek and can't attend

Rich stop playing!

Phillip

P.S. I thought you where working on ZIO's jetting?

Posted by: Rich Rohrich---------------------

Instead of being in the middle of a perfectly goomed track in Oklahoma tommorow I'll be standing in the middle of a Nuclear plant. Sometimes life doesn't turn out the way you hope

I'll just have to enjoy DW02 vicariously through Milk's pictures with the rest of you guys.

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

Rich, I'm sorry that I posted impetuiously. I guess you are stuck here with the rest of us for the time being

I'm sure you will make up for it though

Phillip

Posted by: Milk---------------------

Doh! Senor Rohrich-inator!

I told the guys you were hoping to be there Friday and that things were looking good.

But Rich, "My dad's a TV repairman. He has an AWESOME set of tools. I can fix it."

Sorry you wont be there. I was looking forward to meeting you. Someone has to stay around to man the nuclear plants tho....

Me too. For me that was the best part of DirtWeek 2001, getting the chance to meet lots of the members and goof around telling stories and chatting about stuff. The riding is just an excuse to go

I'll just have to quit my job if this situation arises next year. :thumb:

You work at nuclear power plants Rich. If 'situations' 'arise' next year, will no DRN members within a 300 mile radius be able to go?

Posted by: bscottr---------------------

Misery loves company…..but damn Rich, I never expected you to be among the company.

Milk,
Outstanding job! Did you poke Gomer with the stick for me?

Posted by: Milk---------------------

I actually didnt even meet Gomer when I was there. They were all busy handing stuff out and cooking. I did manage to wander around to several camps to eat though.

I will remember to poke Gomer wit ha stick though, just for you!

Posted by: DWreck---------------------

Good job Milk. Even being there every day it is nice to come home and review and put names to faces. There are so many people there that I am getting every one mixed up. These are some of the friendliest people that you will ever meet. Good riding, great food. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff these characters come up with to give each other a bad time about.

Posted by: Sawblade---------------------

Milk - Thanks for the pictures. I can't wait to get there on Saturday. One days better then none! :thumb:

Posted by: Battered Sav---------------------

Well done Milk, thanx for the pics.

Posted by: Milk---------------------

Bump! For the people rollin' in from DW that might wanna take a look..

Posted by: Timr---------------------

Milk,

Did you look at your video from the MX? How did it look? When are you going to post it?

Thanks again for the ride.

Posted by: Milk---------------------

No sweat man. I watched it on TV, but I never took any video from it yet. I plan to do it tonight or tomorrow at work. Some of it is good, but a lot of it is super dusty. Billywho can sure get in and out of a corner fast man...scary fast and low!

Posted by: MX-727---------------------

Where's the pictures of you during the night time poker run?

Posted by: Milk---------------------

Man, you will have that vision for the rest of your life. Theres no need to post it!

Posted by: "rippinrol"---------------------

Nice pic's Milk, looks like you are a master of the photography trade..Felt like i was there. :thumb:

Posted by: Grady---------------------

Cool pics! I spotted my purty new pressure washer in one of them.

To all of you guys-n-gals that bought raffle tickets also, :thumb:

My bike is no longer a Pig, but a CLEAN Pig.
