Come out to Red Mountain instead ... we're finishing up ribboning an enduro course. If you guys are interested I'll post directions.
I think Red Mountain is sorta close to El Mirage.

I'm interested in an early ride on Sunday. What time did you have in mind and can you post some directions so that I can get a sense of how far I'll need to drive.

Man Im debating whether to do the top end on my bike or go riding. I keep on putting off the top end and I know its gonna get me sooner or later. Decisions, decisions.

Eel- I need to be in Apple Valley Sunday afternoon. Otherwise I would come out to Red.
I will be there next weekend. I'll be helping Tony with the sound checks.

EM - I would likely arrive around 8 am.
From Kramer Junction (where HWY 395 and HWY 58 meet): go 27 miles North on Hwy 395. Turn right on Trona Road. Go approximately 12 miles to Teagle Wash (if you cross the railroad tracks, you've gone too far). Turn right on the dirt road. Follow the arrows to camp.
From Mojave: go 21 miles north on Hwy 14. Take the Redrock / Randsburg turnoff just past Jawbone canyon. Go 12 miles to the Garlock turnoff. Take the left fork. Go 8 miles to Hwy 395. Turn left and go 3 miles to Searles Station Road. Turn right and go 6.3 miles to Trona Road. Turn right and go 1 mile to the Teagle Wash turnoff. Turn left on the dirt road. Follow the arrows to camp.

I may be up for it. What time?

You gotta love the riding out at Red Mountain. Except for the dust and as long as the paint on my car isnt baking off from the heat this is a fun place to ride.

Eel, my time is real limited Sunday that's why I'm staying kinda close and going to El Mirage. That ride does sound like fun and I hope I can join you another time.
We can meet up at the McDonalds at the 15/138 around 7:30 or 8 and drive to the lakebed from there.

Ok, right where we met last time. At least I'll know who I'm looking for this time. I can be there at 8, unless something crazy comes up and I can't make it. I'll post here Saturday and let you know for sure.

I think I jinxed myself. I'm out guys, I gotta work tomorrow morning. I'll catch you guys next time!

Sorry to hear that Andrew.
Jeff, I'll meet you and anyone else who might show up at McDonalds at 8.
