rs-3 yoshi race pipe had 3 lead pipes replaced ; all cracked at mounting bracket any one else had same problem and how to fix or are they just ****

The Honda race team has had problems with the pipe cracking at the mounting brackets from vibration. I believe they ended up using a pipe mount off of a Honda ATC250R to fix the problems. I will look in my notes from when I owned a 650R and see if I can come up with a part #.

just curious.....I have a 2002 xr 650 with power up kit(jets, baffles removed, exhaust tip, manifold) which starts like a dream when cold. First or second kick every time. when the bike gets hot though it is a bitch to start. Runs fine after it starts. What could be the problem.

check the valve adjustment or a too lean pilot jet
