Trailer Life! Chapter One: Broken bones

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

As I mentioned before I bought some land out in the country. Actually I am only 10 mins from downtown Dallas but it feels like the boonies. Thousands of acres of farmland out here and I am in
the middle of it.

I refuse to see the movie "signs" if you now what I mean!

Fell out of my mobile home and broke two bones in my foot!

Actually I was taking up all the floor and fell through the joists! dang particle board

My neighbor came over to see if I could help him move his pig. Some of my buddies who were over could not help but break up laughing. The neighbor of course wondered what was so funny.

Well water out here and you can tell by the neighbors teeth they there is not much flouride in it. Nice guy though.

Right now its a big field with a big green old mobile home on it. They are still wondering why I sold my house to move out here.
When the track is done and the barn is in place I think my friends will be out there more and more.

Most of the people out here are old farmers cept for the neighbor who are good old fashioned TT. house on tires cars on blocks if you know what I mean. I wonder if they are planning to rebuild the 1984 dodge shadow, you know the one with no hood a missing door and no engine?

Well I am fixing up the old trailer. Its actually gonna be pretty cool when I am done. Very modern. Hardwood floors and such when I am done. Drywall work is not so bad. You can actually see the progression as you go down the walls.

As soon as this cast comes off and I finish the fence. Next project is the mini track. People out here just ride their 4 wheelers up and down the street. Its pretty cool.

This is not really a flame I guess. Just that this forum is SO unused now that the new "rules" are in place. I thought I would post here.

Yee haw! makes me feel like I'm @ home. You know when your neighbor's staying awhile? They take the blinkers off their trailer!
Have fun with your fixer upper. Don't take any wooden nickels
As for your water, get a water softner!

kingriz1 - Sorry to hear about your foot, rt or lt? If lt we could get together and make one good set of feet.
Regarding the adobe ... South is the only direction to go in Big D little allas. Congratulations! Lancaster is a great place, celebrating their 150th this year, while all their northern brethren are being swamped by McMansions and freeways.
Take the blinkers off, sell the axles and get the front of the skirt started ..... Whoo Hoo, Honey we’re home.
Oh, and when your done .... directions are in order.

Sounds good kingriz1, I've been doing a little trailer living myself. Hope the foot heals up fast.
