I have a 99 yz400. The supertrapp on it is brand newe and it is a little too loud. I am going to have to get a different exhaust. I am not sure which to do break down and but the FMF Q or put on the PMB endcap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has already done either one please tell me your pros and cons and/or success/unsuccessful stories. Thanks.

Okie posted a review on the Q in the Product Reviews forum a few weeks before DirtWeek. I would search for that. Seems like it was more than tolerable in both sound and performance on his 250F. :thumb:

I know FMF will bring me into spec. I guess my curiosity lies in that if someone bought it and then wished they would have went the PMB route or visa versa. If I can save myself $200 I would rather go that way. I am also wanting to know the numbers of both. Because my FMF power core 4 was at 109 db's and now the supertrapp is 103-104. It needs to be 101 for now but when Jan 1 '03 gets here it needs to be down to 96 db's. I just want to sell my Supertrapp while it is still new (less than 2 hrs. on it) and put it towards which ever way I decide to go. Thanks Big Lou :thumb:

I think then crd is the way to go but Thump and their customer service is my final word....

I use FMF Q on both my bikes and wouldn't use any other.(XR, EXC)
No top end gain on either from stock, but it is the TORQUE KING.
