I'm thinking about going down to cooperland to race next month. Have never raced there before. Can anyone tell me if you need an AMA membership to race beginner class in their cooperland series. Also, do they have op0en practice the Sat before the race and if so do you know how late it goes Sat before they prep the track for Sunday? Thanks.

Check out www.cooperlandraceway.com. If it's a race weekend Kris always has Sat. practice. Fun track.
