2000 Ktm 380mxc

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

I have a pretty decent 380MXC for sale for a really good price.

$2800 takes it as is. I'm replacing the fork seals and the swingarm heim bearing this week, but the bike could use a new pipe or pipe repair.

I have at least $3500 in it, so the price is firm. I'll gladly answer any questions.

Comes with a brand-spankin'-new FMF Turbine Core 2 sparky and the stock silencer too. Also includes an extra 52 tooth rear sprocket and the cool 'World of KTM' satchel.

Nothing but crickets. . .

Somebody please give my pumpkin a new home. I need cash for my dream bike.

Posted by: steve talley---------------------

What a dream!!!!!!!

Posted by: Timr---------------------

Did you sell the 250F? you giving up riding or what?

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

The dream bike is now a reality, but I still need some $$ for pimpage enhancement.

Tim, I sold the 250F, but I'm not giving up anything. I had a line on a new 250F, but somebody snapped up the only CHEAP '03 in the world. I may have to wait until January to get a new one.

I may have a buyer for the KTM too.

Posted by: ktmboy---------------------

I take it the 380 was a bit too much where you ride?

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

I raced the 380 on a tight sand track and had a blast. I got third, and it was my first real ride on the bike. I did some practice laps on the local tight SX track, and it felt good there too.

But. . .I tried to ride it at Cooperland and it sucked. I tried to ride it at my 'home' track, and it sucked again. I just don't feel comfortable on it when it's a fast track.

I HAVE A 96 KX250 TO TRADE EMAIL DOJOKR@AOL.COM JOHN

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

Price dropped to $2600.

Daddy needs a new 250F so he can make a point with the locals. :silly:

Gotta be some bargain hunters out there. I'm going be in the Chicagoland area soon, so a Midwest/Northern delivery is possible.

I'll throw in the new used pipe and pipe guard too.

Jeez, what do you want for NOTHIN?

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

You can see a front and rear shot of the bike HERE I think Nikki has a couple of decent shots of it too. I'll see if she can post 'em.

i would think that bike would be ideal on a fast track.

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

It would be. . .if somebody else was on it.

KTM again:

Posted by: jboomer---------------------

I'd love to have it, but I've got to get rid of my wife's bike before I can get another one. I'd almost rather have your dream bike though! About what would one expect to pay for such a beaut?

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

$899 out the door for the Z Fitty. I'm getting my new 250F from the same guys (if I can sell the monster).

Posted by: Biglmbass---------------------

Julius,

Hope you don't mind me asking, but where did you find an XR50 for $899 out the door. Out of state, I presume. I'm in north Alabama and found the same price in MS. Just wondering if I'm unaware of another "price buster" dealer w/in driving distance.

Thanks in advance and good luck w/ selling your bike.

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

Big, I missed your post. I've been riding AX in Michigan and stuff.

I got my XR50 from the lowball guys in Mississippi. It's a 2 hour drive, but they've made it worth my time.

NOBODY wants a killer deal on a big bore 2-smoke?

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

punt

Posted by: Camstyn---------------------

Man, I wish I could afford a second bike! :whiner:

Posted by: IrishEKU---------------------

Any nibbles?

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

I've had a couple of inquiries from other forums. Nobody has any money.

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

Last bump before I trade it in or try to sell it locally.

2500 American dollars. :silly:

I'll say. Good price, wish I had some money.

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

I'll have the bike in Missouri this weekend if anyone wants to take a look. I'll be at Merwin with the NTAC crew.

Posted by: dadshillnut---------------------

Still on market ?

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

Still for sale. My email is juliuspleazer@aol.com if you want to take a look. I'm in Vestavia, but I can meet you at Mill Creek MX Park in Pell City or at Ironman in Warrior if you want to ride it.

Nyuk-nyuk-nyuk! Spread out, you knuckleheads!

Posted by: bscottr---------------------

Update that sig line man!

Does that leave you with only the XRFitty?

Posted by: nikki---------------------

So.... whats next? I don't think you can do the 6-pack at Mill Creek on the XR Fiddy

Posted by: lwsmithjr---------------------

JP,
I gotta '03 YZ250F with less than 10 hours on it. My brother-in-law decided he needed a CRF450 after meeting Lemming at Mill Creek. The 250F has to go. He will treat you right. Let me know if you are interested.

Len

Posted by: JuliusPleaser---------------------

bscottr, I have a pantload of 50s. I'm down to the '03 XR, the '71 Mintrail Z50, and a '69 project Mini.

Nik, I think I can work the 6-pack on the XR. Come show me how?

Len, what does he call 'right'? Does that mean he'll use a lubricant?
