Well, my friend is selling his beat-up 1992 YZ125 for 500 bucks. The subframe whas killed, but he *kind of* straightened it. Of all the websites I went to, and all the companies I called, NOBODY carries a '92 subframe. They go back to only '93. Does anyone know of a dealer or company or even have a buddy parting out his bike, know where I can get one? Not to be rude but I don't really trust his welding.
thanks in advance,
Rob

I think you must be mistaken about the year of the bike. 92 yzs didnt have a removable subframe, only the left side(cluth side) was removable. On the 93 the whole subframe came off in on piece.
this is the link to www.partsfish.com's drawing of the frame if it works you can see what Im talkin about

it IS a 92, but i didnt know they weren't removable. my friend kinda flew off of a 30 foot wash, and the subframe was bent about six inches to the left. he cut out the crosspeices, heated the tubing up, bent it back, and welded the crosspieces back on. thanks for the information, though.
