??? 2003 RM 250 Rear shock, The manual says to line up the indents on the outer rim of the adjuster assy, the high speed adjuster and the clicker. This seems odd to me.

Is this just for maintenace when you disassemble the shock.

What about minor adjustments? If I turn my high speed down a 1/2 turn the marks will not match up, and if I turn my clicker 1 or 2 clicks they will not match up. I dont think its a big deal but can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Isnt that just for the predetermined factory setting , ? Thats where the factory thinks is a good starting point as for the setup.
