Fork Springs

Well, I have been planning on getting new fork springs, and finnally bit the bullet. I have read my manual over and over again, but some how, when I went to take my forks apart, the manual dissapeared. I cant find it any where. I would really like to avoid buying another manual, so if anyone has expericence on changing springs on a 2000 cr250, help! All I remember is something about loosining a bolt on the bottom, and using a tool to hold the dampining rod. But the bolt on the bottom of the forks does not want to seem to turn, and I do not want to break anything.
Any help is appriciated.

A few threads talk of servicing the showa forks-also look at www.mx-tech.com jer has a guide posted on how to service them.
