For the first time since October 01

I put my right in a regular boot for the first time today since busting my bones at DW.
In celebration, I went right out and washed my truck for the first time since DirtWeek. I now have a nice collection of OK red dirt in my driveway.
Now I KNOW I am gonna be ready on the 1st!!

Tony that is great news. Amazing how litle things are so much fun once you can do them again.
My big feat was taking 3 steps today without crutches- The surgeon wants me walking with just the brace in another week

Feels good to take those first steps again! I couldnt wait til i could walk normally. Now i'm just waiting til i can run again.

Not yet, I go back on the 6th. He told me to wear the wooden shoe as long as I could stand it. I have it on again today, although my foot doesn't seem any worse for yesterday. He told me when he pulled the last pin that my bones were capable of supporting me, but the longer I spent in the shoe the better.
