Although I have yet to give a long term evaluation of Jaybird's new chain elixer (sp), I can say that I am more than impressed with his customer support already. So far the product seems very good and I am confident that I won't be disappointed. Great price too!

Thanks Jaybird! :thumb:

I agree, the chain lube is good stuff. I am using the heck out of the stuff, and I have to admit; the chain stays lubed and is pretty easy to clean.

I've heard it breaks chains(Click here!)....you know jaybird sells chains too right?
LOL j/p, I'm sure it great stuff!! :thumb:

I've been using the stuff for a while now, it's excellent I must say. Doesn't fling, doesn't attract grit, and seems to do a good job in the lubricity department too. Plus the greyish dry film it leaves hides the rust on my chain

limitless, You do realise that Tim was kidding in his "Broken Chain" thread? LOL...At least I HOPE SO!

Yeah, I knew he was kidding. I would use it myself if I wasn't sponsored by motorex :thumb:

I've only had the opportunity to use the lube on my Mountain bike and track bicycles but so far I've been really happy with it. I ride a lot of tight cinder trails with my MTB and it forces a lot of abraisive junk into the drivetrain. 90 minutes into the ride I can usually feel the shifts start to get sloppy and inaccurate. The MX1000 did a better job in this case than standard Honda HP chain lube, and the usual liquid chain wax (Pedro's Ice Wax) that I tend to use. MX1000 seems to have less drag on my track bike than the wax, or a clean dry chain does. Any less drag on a single speed fixed gear bike is a BIG advantage during a sprint.

I realize this is far from a scientific test but it does make me anxious to test it on my CFR and YZF.

Nice job on the product Jaybird. :thumb:

A thumbs up from Rich is ALWAYS a good thing!
I am looking forward to trying some myself, anything to get away from that NASTY Bel-Ray chain lube I've been using.
