Air Box. 03 CRF450

I have heard that the new 03 like the 02 still have problems with the air box. I hear that they get a lot of sand blowing by the filter and around the casing. The shop suggested a kit that lessens the gap but I still dont know exactly what they were talking about. Has anyone elso heard of this and if so, how did the fix the problem. The shop also suggested that a silicon bead might do the trick.

My '03 has never had a speck of dirt or dust in the airbox.It's been fixed.

My '03 is pretty clean, in from the screen. I think it is fixed. I have ridden in the sand quite a bit this fall and no sand or dirt past the filter.
