HEBO makes an excellent add on hydraulic clutch kit for most bikes. Very well made, and easy to instal. I think Patman did a reveiw of one a while back, might be worth a read. Go to the www.hebo-line.com and check for dealers. It is not shown on the website apparently, but is available.

cheers Have any of you used those products and did you like them ??

I have a magura hydro clutch and it was good and bad-its nice never having to adjust it and its consistancy-its bad as on a 02Cr125 it makes jetting hard as it gets in the way of the carb when you rotate it.On the YZ i dont think this is a problem as the clutch arm is on the opposite side.

Yeah thanks so did you find it easily to assemble ?? not too much work to fit it??

We fit a Hebo one on a 02 CR250. It works great! In fact, the owner is switching it over to his new 03 CR450. Fitting was easy, with no problems.

Its as easy as fitting a clutch cable.

cool thanks for your help
I think I will order one right away !

I purchased the universal hebo clutch for my 2002 yz250 two stroke. There doesn't seem to be a convenient spot to mount/attach the slave cylinder. I was told that you can wrap the slave cylinder with a section of inner tube and just let it stay suspended.

Has anyone else done this?

Better yet, has anyone mounted this kit on a 2002 yz250 two stroke?
(BTW, I ride enduros and have a 3.2 gallon IMS tank that makes things more cramped)

Thanks,
GWO

Although I am not a fan of "letting things bounce around", I would say you will likely to be fine doing it in this case. I know one installation where this was done and has finished a season without a problem.

JTT,

Thanks for the reply. I'm going try and get it mounted even if I have to make and attach a bracket.

In installed a Hebo on my 92 Yamaha by wrapping the slave cylinder in an inner tube sleeve and zip tying it underneath the frame tube backbone. It has worked well so far (almost two years).

I installed the Hebo that I purchased from eRider on my '01 RM250.  I let the slave cylinder float next to the head stay with no problems.  The actual length of cable is about 5 inches.  Clutch pull has been nice and light all the time.  I will definitely put one of these on the next bike that I buy.
