There was a test in a Dirt Rider issue earlier this year. Look into back issues if you can.

well I know this much. He runs a 11 oz flywheel weight and 14 tooth counter shaft and 50 tooth in the rear.
I am running that gearing but it is WAY too tall. I am always in first gear and clutching it all the time

Bryan I think Freddy could run european grand prix gearing and still fly in the woods!
That guy rolls through the woods like its an mx track.

I have a 2000 KX 250 I bought from Fred that is fully set up. It has a 11oz. weight and 13/48 gearing. You are welcome to test ride it. I am in Southern Ohio and will list all the mods. if you want.
