4 stroke flywheel weight problems?

i have a 02 426 with a stealthy ty davis 12 oz flywheel weight just put on, i have a problem in that it won't gain in rev's under half gas didn't do this before i know the weight was going to do this but i didn't think that bad. would it be bacause the jetting, and carb settings are not right? any feedback would be appreciated! ps it for riding in kansas which is around 1000 ft or so above sea level

r u sure the isnt too much weight? i thought the 4 strokes had heavier fw's than the 2 strokes. i thought the ffw for the 4 strokes were like 4-6 ounces.

One of the MX magazines (I cant remember wich one) used a 10oz on the yz400 and said it worked great, didnt rob any power and made it much harder to stall in the corners.I was thinking about adding one myself.

If you are interested inselling the 12oz to get a 10oz I would be interested in buying it. I am looking for a 12oz for my 250F, I think the 426 is the same part#. Email me at sgtsmith@londonpd.com if you want to go lighter.
