$10 dollar sx tickets...

ok,, i got a room at the omni in atlanta for the sx...
problem is,, all the tickets are gone except corner endzone, and the very top general admission,,, anyone ever sit up top like that? can you actually see the race close enough to enjoy it?

We did the nose bleed seats at the 89 Dallas SX. It was one of the least enjoyable SX races we every attended. Hard to see and all the fumes moved to the top and made us very light headed. In 97 we did the endzone corner seats in St. Louis. These seats were closer but it was hard to see the action on the track. In 98, again at St. Louis we did end row seats in the family sections. The track had a section that was horizontal to this section and was not to bad of a location to watch the rest of the track. Part of this was being in the family section and not having any drunks to put up with as beer was not allowed in this section.

As the race time gets closer check with local bike shops/ supply shops. They often have blocks of tickets in great locations available. We did it one year thru Bobs for the Minn SX and got great seats 2 weeks before the race. Check with some of the DRNers in the atlata area for leads where to call
