Crf450 Oryzf450?

I'M LOOKING AT PURCHING A 4 STOKE. I CURRENTLY OWN A 250YZ BUT FIND THAT 1/2 MY RIDING IS DONE CROSS COUNTRY AND MX. FIRST QUESTION; WILL THE 4 STOKE WORK AS WELL IN THE WOODS AS WELL AS ON THE TRACK? AND IF SO WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST BIKE FOR BOTH, THE HONDA OR THE YAMAHA? THANKS

THEY'RE BOTH GREAT BIKES. IF YOU ARE BUYING NEW JUST FIND THE BEST DEAL. CHECK SOME YAMAHA DEALERS AROUND YOU FOR LEFT OVER 02 426'S. THEY ARE SELLING FOR OVER A GRAND LESS THAN THE 03's

The 4 stroke would be great in the woods...the bike is more tractable and has great bottom and mid. You can even ride in the wrong gear and be ok. my buddy has a CRF and he got faster on his CRF; he was riding a 2001 CR250 before.

You should like the 4-strokes better, smoother, other than they are harder to start when flooded. The 2-strokes you must be alert at all times or you will lose it. Look at Cannondale with the electric start.
