kx 500 subframe

Has anyone had any experiences with an AC Racing subframe for a kx 500?My stocker has been rewelded several times and the bolt holes spin.

I've heard that since it is square tubing, the AC subframe should be a close fit. Their round tubing subframes suck.. Ie. 94-98 KX, 98-92 YZF's, etc.

Can anything be done about the spinning riveted bolt holding thingamajigs on the stock subframe?

Yup, mine were knocked out too inside the subframe on my 500. I was able to replace them using a rivet gun and a special type of rivet, although it was with SAE threads. I forget the name of the rivets, but if you take the subframe to a hardware store they should be able to direct you to the stuff you'll need.
