Hi. My 2-stroker time is over..I have just bought my first 4-stroker and im somewhat lost...
I dont know anything about 4-strokes and how to tune things up. So here are some questions that i like to get answered plase

*What "hop-ups" can i do exept for a new "slip on" or silencer? I have heard something about cam shaft angle or something...
*Are there anything special i should take extra care of or are they "unbrakable" (Yamaha wr426)?
*Do i have to use expencive fully cynthetic oil or can i use semi/non synthetic oil?
*Maby someone can put up some links that i might can get info on yamaha 426?

Well...thats some of the questions i hope u can enlight me regarding this hm...wonderfull machine?

Thank you

Yank the airbox lid off, install a YZ250F needle, pull the cork out of the muffler, and rejet(can't remember what size jets).

Check out the WR forum at www.thumpertalk.com

Ive had some pretty good results with this jetting:
168Main, OBELN Needle, (YZ250F), 48pilot and 100 pilot air. Big difference from stock,
and it really woke up the motor.

Don't forget to cut down your throttle stop to YZ specs, or just go buy the YZ screw. My dealer did this before I even got the bike. The factory screw only allows the throttle to open 75-80%.
